About Yeray González
Born in Gran Canaria, Yeray González began his musical training at the age of 8 at the Teror Music School and, at 13, entered the Professional Conservatory of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where he would return years later as a teacher. His career is marked by the influence of great international trumpeters such as John Miller, Pierre Dutot, Kristian Steenstrup, Rex Richardson, Andrea Tofanelli, and Sebastián Gil Armas, among others.
Awarded first prize at the Maspalomas Trumpet Festival and the Varazdin International Competition (Croatia), Yeray has built a career that combines performance, teaching, and innovation. After an intense training tour in Mexico and China, he became one of the first to share educational content about the trumpet on social media, helping thousands of students worldwide.
He is currently a professor at the Universidad del Atlántico Medio, a member of the Gran Canaria Big Band, and a doctoral candidate in music pedagogy.
This collaboration represents more than just a design: it is a reflection of Yeray's commitment to music, teaching, and the inspiration he transmits to an entire generation of trumpeters.
