Some encounters happen at just the right time. With Vicent, everything flowed naturally, with closeness and with that energy that arises when music brings paths together. After months working with him, we have achieved four models with the exact specifications that allow him to develop his full potential on each instrument and in every context. At musicRioja, we make them available to any musician who wants to play with the same model.

Design with CFD technology

The internal geometry of these mouthpieces has been optimized using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, ensuring efficient airflow and the best playing comfort:

Collection Models

• CDI5V – Narrow Trombone — Designed for street trombonists and popular music. Bright and powerful sound, without sacrificing comfort and rim width. Inner width: 25.70mm.
• TBO5V – Wide Trombone — For the classical and band trombonist. Exact width for comfort and a dark, round, and broad sound. Inner width: 28.00mm.
• BBD3V – Euphonium — Designed for multi-instrumentalists who play tuba and euphonium in similar situations or in the same concert. Smooth airflow and sweet sound. Inner width: 26.40mm.
• TBA3V – Tuba — Also for tuba/euphonium multi-instrumentalists. Smooth airflow and powerful, direct, and broad sound. Versatile for popular music, jazz, and classical concerts with a small tuba. Inner width: 32.10mm.

Materials and manufacturing

Manufactured using 3D printing with high-precision thermoplastic polymer, certified safe for skin contact. The rim is completely smooth and polished, ensuring soft, comfortable, and safe contact during prolonged use. Unlike metallic mouthpieces, it reduces the risk of irritation with prolonged contact.

About Vicent Blasco

Born in Villarreal and raised in Almazora, Vicent Blasco began his musical training at a very young age, growing up surrounded by bands, tradition, and a passion for brass instruments. His path led him through the UIM La Esmeralda and conservatories such as Mestre Goterris, Mestre Tàrrega, and the Superior Salvador Seguí.

He stands out not only as a trombonist and euphonium player: his versatility has made him an interpreter, singer, actor, and versatile musician who shines in projects such as Curts do it txaranga, AbraçBand, Malparits, Montana Orquesta, Orkesta Pelillo, or Tubagogic Ensemble, with eight studio albums under his belt.

As an educator, he has been making his mark for years as a teacher and director in different music schools in Castellón, training trombonists, tubists, euphonium players, and inspiring new generations.

The Vicent Blasco Signature is more than a mouthpiece: it is the mark of a collaboration born from respect, friendship, and a love for music.
