The cornet mouthpiece collection designed with Dani de Baza, one of the most internationally recognized cornet soloists.

After months of studio work with Dani de Baza, we have developed a collection of cornet mouthpieces with specifications that allow Dani to develop his full potential with the cornet. At musicRioja, we make them available to any musician who wants to play with the same model.

Design with CFD technology

The internal geometry of this mouthpiece has been optimized using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, ensuring efficient airflow and the best playing comfort:

  • Less fatigue
  • Greater tuning stability
  • Better control in all registers

Materials and manufacturing

Manufactured using 3D printing with high-precision thermoplastic polymer, certified for skin safety. The rim is completely smooth and polished, ensuring soft, comfortable, and safe contact during prolonged use. Unlike metal mouthpieces, it reduces the risk of irritation from prolonged contact.

About Dani de Baza

Born in Baza, Granada in 1982, Daniel Jiménez Castro — internationally known as Dani de Baza — is one of the most influential cornet soloists in the Spanish and international music scene.

Trained from a very young age, his career has taken him through the best bands in Andalusia, among which are Presentación al Pueblo de Dos Hermanas, Tres Caídas de Triana, and Tres Caídas del Realejo. A pioneer in the development of his own interpretive technique, Dani de Baza has been the first cornet soloist to offer international concerts, including performances in China.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated on recording projects such as 50 Años de Esperanza, Origen (vol. 1, 2 and 3), Joyas Cofrades and the single Recuérdame with Sergio Contreras. In 2016, he presented his cornet and saxophone fusion project at the Valencian Auditorium Consolat de Mar, included in his first solo album: IMMENSITY, distributed worldwide.

His work has been recognized with the Baza Joven award from the Baza City Council (2014) and the special mention of the Ser Cofrade 2013 awards from Cadena Ser.

Used by musicians of all levels in over 40 countries. Made in Spain.
