Origin and history

The musicRioja project was born in 2019 with a dream: to make the world of brass more accessible to musicians of all ages. Since our beginnings, we have firmly believed in music as a universal language that unites and transforms.
Learn more about our history from its origin in the interview we did on the Hablar Por Las Codas podcast: musicRioja
Combining our passion for music with industrial engineering, we dedicated three years to developing and improving our mouthpieces and accessories. This effort has been possible thanks to the collaboration of PhDs from the University of La Rioja , as well as musicians and professors from higher conservatories, who have helped us translate their opinions into data and metrics that give meaning to so many hours of printing and simulation. Special thanks to Alejandro Incera , who has been involved in this project from the beginning.
Throughout our journey, we've developed and implemented an innovative airflow optimization method, applying CFD finite element simulation to each mouthpiece we create. With each new mouthpiece we simulate, our method becomes more accurate and robust. This approach allows us to guarantee comfort and ease in musical practice, ensuring that every note sounds as it should.
Today, we remain committed to musical training and growth . We believe that every musician, from the youngest to the most renowned professional, deserves access to tools that enhance their talent. That's why, in addition to our mouthpieces, we also develop a variety of accessories designed to elevate technique and performance.
At musicRioja , we deeply value collaboration with our customers. Their ideas and suggestions are what drive us to innovate and create high-quality, personalized products. Each proposal is an opportunity to improve and adapt to the needs of our musical community.
Thanks to everyone involved in this project, which, with effort, work, ambition, and perseverance , is achieving goals far beyond our wildest dreams.
