Unlike metal mouthpieces, it reduces the risk of irritation during extended contact.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eAbout Jorge Guerra\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBorn in Caracas (Venezuela), Jorge began his musical journey at age 6 at the Fundación Bigot. At 15, he joined the National System of Orchestras, where he began his trombone studies with maestro Camilo Jiménez. At just 18, he became assistant trombonist of the \u003cstrong\u003eNational Philharmonic Orchestra of Venezuela\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter his time as solo trombonist in Peru, he continued his training in Europe: at the \u003cstrong\u003eÉcole Normale de Musique de Paris\u003c\/strong\u003e with the renowned \u003cstrong\u003eJacques Mauger\u003c\/strong\u003e, and obtaining his degree at the IESM in Aix-en-Provence (France). He currently pursues his career as a teacher and concert performer in France, where he has also been an associate artist of the Conservatoire de la Baie de Somme.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHis international career has earned him numerous accolades: 2nd prize in the Courtois National Competition (France), 2nd prize in the Chieri International Competition (Italy), 4th prize in Innovatrombone (Spain), and 8th place worldwide in the \u003cstrong\u003eJeju International Competition\u003c\/strong\u003e (South Korea).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJorge Guerra's music combines the power of Latin talent with the elegance of a classical performer.
